Well, one year in and we’ve had a busy year. There has been a lot happening in Logistics and automated warehousing over the last twelve months. The days of low capital costs and subsequently long lead times for solutions seem to be over, at least for the moment. Conversely, there appears to be shortage of warehouse staff and no end of quickly implemented solutions coming onto the market. Years ago, we worked with a book publisher who made the brave decision to invest in automation during a downturn when everyone was saying that the physical book was dead. The decision proved to be very wise. As I always find myself saying, everything goes in cycles.
